Custom xmbIcon Packager (in English)

Not very long ago kgsws released an XMB Icon Converter tool, but I was clueless; as I’m sure many of you were in the same boat. Until now, that is! caliFrag has provided a complete English translation of kgsws’ work. Now quickly & easily learn how to customize your XMB icons.

Changes for the translated version:

* Hexed bmp2mig.exe and join.exe: Translated to English.
* Renamed zac.dat and kon.dat to hdr.dat and ftr.dat respectively.
* Support for multiple firmwares with one batch file.
* Added advanced error handling procedures to the batch file.

Icon requirements:

  • 64×64 pixels
  • 8 bit color/256 colors

Now isn’t that easy? You can use X-Flash V18h to flash “topmenu_plugin.rco” back to your PSP.
