Eun Sik is 28 years old and has recently started school at the university. He is a member of the Cha Ryu group and practices with them daily, through painful endurance training. He meets the much younger and gorgeous Eun Hyo, for whom he holds a completely one-sided attraction. Eun Sik's amazingly unlucky, and a host of embarrassing situations happen to him. Dragon Squad
Dragon Squad is a gun-blazing, thrill-seeking cop thriller busting at the seams with a sexy cast and a stylish visual edge. Taiwanese pop star Vanness Wu, from the boy band F4, stars as Hao, an American Chinese cop who teams up with Shawn Yu's Hong Kong detective Lok, former undercover agent Suet (Eva Huang from Kung Fu Hustle), Chinese super sniper Lu (Xia Yu) and former British operative James (Lawrence Chou) to take down a seriously evil bad guy. However, when he gets rescued by a gang of even less friendly mercenaries, headed up by Colombian Petros (played by American actor Michael Biehn, from Aliens and The Rock) the streets of Hong Kong become a shooting gallery as the two sides engage in all-out war.
Co-starring Simon Yam, Sammo Hung and Maggie Q, Dragon Squad dazzles with its combination of knowing style and high octane action, including an incredible twenty minute gun fight where the two sides square off in an alley way. From director Daniel Lee, who previously worked with Vanness on Star Runner, Dragon Squad succeeds as old-fashioned Saturday night fun, the likes of which appears all too rarely in Hong Kong these days.

Roommates Yoo-jin, Eun-soo, Bo-ram, and Da-young are cramming for a college entrance exam. It’s difficult for them to adapt to the stifling atmosphere of the women’s lodging institute – and to get along with each other due to their differing personalities. Yoo-jin has the most difficulty with the stuffy institute life; she begins to have visions of events that took place at the institute in the past – like the tragic fire that occurred years ago. Yoo-jin gradually becomes consumed with fear, and the relationship among the four intimate friends begins to suffer.

Diary: Wishful Thinking, Mon seung (Chinese Horror Movie)
Sometimes when you’re being derivative good things transpire, and that in itself can deliver a more shocking revelation than all the cheesy FX and predictable chillers put together.
This is what happens with The Diary, a foray once more into the Pang Brothers breech with their entourage of Thai filmmakers and knack for intelligent gore. After the disappointing Recycle set the prolific siblings back a bit, it’s pleasant to see them back in moderately satisfying form with a short yet titillating release timed nicely for the Halloween season.
On the surface, The Diary seems like it’s bound for also-ran perdition, hinting just a slight too much at working that tired old The Eye magic one time too many. Even its main star, Charlene Choi, puts on a spectacular Angelica Lee imitation to the point where at the onset of proceedings wary viewers will be tempted to give up and call it a write off.
Do not: perseverance here is a bona fide virtue, and The Diary has going for it more than meets, well, the eye. Ironically, those very fears of this effort descending into a realm of rip-off fiascoes save it from a fate worse than celluloid death. As soon as one thinks they’ve seen it before, which they have in many ways, The Diary comes charging through to twist those well-worn elements and throw our own jaded sights right back at us.
